The aINU DENIM JACKET commemorates the Ainu, indigenous people from the northern part of the Japanese archipelago, including Hokkaido Island. Known for their distinctive culture and way of life, the unique Ainu patterns served as inspiration for original embroidery. This denim jacket is made from premium reused indigo fabric and features special embroidery on the front and back created using chainstitch sewing machines. There are limited embroidery factories in Japan with these “handlebar sewing machines” making these designs even more unique. Designed to be worn in but never worn out, this made-in-Japan style bears a special label matching the spirit of the Ainu people.
